andrea: can these radio programs be downloaded on to a cd. I just came across it about 5 minutes ago. I have a bootleg recording of letting go and believe it was done when ann and nancy were at the house of blues.

Just got a chance to listen to Part 3! Loved it, and I totally agree re: Darkness, Darkness. It’s hands-down my favorite track from Hope and Glory, and just proves what a magical chemistry A&N have. It also sort of underscores what a beautiful personal vocal style Nancy has developed over the years. It’s totally unique. Part rock, part folk, part bluegrass. Just the coolest.

Hee, I’m still okay with people being able to say their least favorite, because the implication is that they’re there on the Heart boards due to their all-out love and obsession for Heart. I don’t necessarily buy into the “in their living room” thing for all occasions, as long as people keep it respectful–BUT I do agree that people who don’t like “I’m Fine” and “Things” are out-and-out crazy. (Heehee) And I’m totally with you on AIWD, though dang if Ann doesn’t catch me sometimes in that first verse before I realize what song’s playing!

Great broadcast, and I really liked your thoughts on the songs.

Unfortunately no. They only performed it on that tour and the only recordings that exist are bootlegs.

I absolutely loved it! Wow, Nancy sounds amazing on Love Alive! What a treat! I am also absolutely kicking myself retroactively for having missed her solo tour.

And DANG, Nancy’s harmonica on Love and Madness was freaking unbelievable. I’m going to need to see her do some of that live. Is there no limit to her talent?
